Kranskraal - Where the Karoo Comes Alive

Intro Video
Dawn Karoo Quest – Fullbones Day Trip
Before the sun clears the koppies, we’re rolling. Gemsbok stand like statues on the skyline, springbok pronk across red dunes, and kudu melt into the thornveld. We wind through hidden valleys to the famous fossil ridge, a moderate uphill walk in sturdy boots. Where the rocks tell the dramatic story of a global flood that reshaped the earth six thousand years ago. Later, wood fire smoke rises from a riverside braai, cold drinks clink, and if the heat climbs, there’s a river pool carved into the granite for a proper Karoo dip.
Moonlit Karoo Secrets – Fullbones Night Drive
When the sun drops, the desert wakes up. We leave at 6 pm with spotlights and blankets. Bat eared foxes freeze in the beams, aardwolf trot along the roads, porcupines rattle their quills, and sometimes a caracal’s eyes flash emerald in the dark. Halfway through we stop at a high lookout: Enjoy a farm-style platter in the night, ice-cold drinks. Discuss the Southern Cross, Scorpio and the Milky Way so bright it casts shadows. Back before midnight, ears ringing with jackal calls and hearts full.
Barebones Option
Want the same private game viewer and guide, but you preffer to bring your own pickic basket, or just focus on the animals and the stars. Then choos the Barebones option. Still the same exclusive experience. Every trip is private and their is NO mixing and or combining of groups. Just you, your friends and or family and your pace.
